Hollywoodbets has enhanced its online casino offerings for its players in South Africa through a new partnership with Wazdan.

In turn, the iGaming developer has made its entry into the South African market, bringing a selection of its games, including series and standalone titles, from its content portfolio to players in the country.

Wazdan’s titles will be integrated into Hollywoodbets online casino via Light & Wonder’s aggregation platform, with an initial 10 releases to be part of the first content rollout.

Wayde Dorkin, Head of Product at Hollywoodbets, commented: “We are always looking to bring fresh and distinctive content to our live games offering, and Wazdan’s portfolio provides a strong addition to our existing selection.

“The variety across these titles gives our players access to different gameplay styles and experiences, and we are pleased to introduce Wazdan to our platform as part of our ongoing focus on developing our casino proposition.”

Wazdan releases that are part of the launch on Hollywoodbets include 9 Coins, 9 Coins 1000 Edition, 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Burning Sun, Hot Slot: 777 Crown, Hot Slot Mystery Jackpot Joker, Magic Spins, Power of Gods: Valhalla, Power of Sun™: Svarog and Sizzling Eggs.

Bekki D’Agata, Commercial Director at Wazdan, added: “South Africa is an exciting addition to our international footprint, and entering the market with Hollywoodbets gives us a strong foundation from which to build.

“Our approach to expansion is centred on finding the right partners in each market and creating opportunities to bring our content to new audiences. We are looking forward to seeing how our portfolio develops in South Africa and to progress on this landmark step with Hollywoodbets.”

Power of tech

Maciej Chyra, Chief Technology Officer at Wazdan, recently spoke to iGaming Expert about how technology is built to support the development of the supplier’s games, as well as the different mechanics and promotional tools across its network.

Chyra said: “We rely on our own infrastructure, proven modern solutions and trusted technology partners to provide a stable foundation for new games, mechanics and promotional tools.

“Our technology is developed continuously, so the platform can evolve and new functionality can be introduced without affecting the reliability of existing solutions. This gives our product teams the flexibility to build and improve at scale.

“At the same time, the direction is shaped by experienced people who understand both the product and the technology behind it. In the end, it is technology made by humans, for humans.”
